Cookie policy

1. What are cookies?

Cookies and similar technologies are small files or storage mechanisms that may be installed on the user's device while browsing.

They may be used, among other purposes, to enable the operation and security of a website, remember certain preferences, analyse how the website is used or measure the effectiveness of actions and campaigns.

2. Which cookies does ABAL Consulting use?

The ABAL Consulting website uses first-party and third-party cookies.

Depending on their purpose, they can be classified into the following categories:

These are cookies required for the operation, security and technical management of the website and of the services requested by the user.

They may be used, among other functions, to manage consent preferences and protect forms against automated or fraudulent use.

These technologies are not used to analyse user behaviour for commercial purposes.

They allow us to understand, in aggregate, how the website is used, which content is viewed, how users arrive and how they navigate through the different pages.

For this purpose ABAL Consulting may use tools such as:

  • Google Analytics 4, to analyse use of the website and measure its performance and conversions.
  • Microsoft Clarity, to understand how users interact with certain pages and detect possible navigation or usability issues.

These tools will only be activated once the user has given the corresponding consent.

They allow us to measure certain actions related to our communication and marketing activities.

ABAL Consulting uses the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure, where applicable, interaction and conversions related to LinkedIn and our activity on that platform.

Some pages include videos hosted on YouTube (Google). The player does not load until the user clicks on the video, at which point the youtube-nocookie.com domain is used in privacy-enhanced mode. If consent for marketing cookies has not been given, it is requested before the player loads.

These technologies will only be activated once the user has given the corresponding consent.

3. Attribution and visit source

Where the user has given the corresponding consent, ABAL Consulting may retain certain information about the source of the visit —such as source, medium, campaign, UTM parameters or landing page— in order to understand which content, channels or campaigns generate enquiries and business opportunities.

This information will not be used to store data such as the user's name, email address or telephone number directly in the cookie.

4. Consent management

ABAL Consulting uses Cookiebot as its consent management platform.

When first accessing the website, the user may:

  • accept all cookies;
  • reject non-necessary cookies;
  • configure their preferences by category.

Cookies and technologies that require consent will not be activated until consent has been given.

The user may subsequently change or withdraw their consent using the “Cookie settings” option available on the website.

Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

5. Cookies used and duration

The up-to-date list of cookies and technologies used by this website, including their name, provider, purpose, category and duration, is available in the Cookiebot settings panel.

This inventory may change when there are changes to the tools used by the website.

ABAL Consulting will keep the consent manager configuration up to date to reflect such changes.

6. Third-party services

Some of the technologies used are provided by third parties, including Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Usercentrics/Cookiebot and Cloudflare.

These providers may process certain technical information needed to provide their services and, in some cases, carry out international data processing or transfers in accordance with their own policies and the applicable legal safeguards.

You can find more information about the processing of personal data carried out through the website in our Privacy Policy.

7. Form protection

ABAL Consulting uses Cloudflare Turnstile as a security measure to protect its forms against automated or fraudulent submissions.

Its purpose is to protect the website and ensure the forms work properly, not to track the user for advertising.

8. How to change your preferences

The user may change or withdraw their selected preferences at any time via “Cookie settings”.

Stored cookies can also be deleted from the browser settings. Deleting or blocking certain cookies may affect how some features of the website work.

9. Changes to this Cookie Policy

ABAL Consulting may update this Cookie Policy when the technologies used on the website change or when necessary as a result of legal or technical changes.

The version in force at any time will be the one published on this website.
